Jo Evans is a Warwick Zeeman Lecturer and Leverhulme Early Career fellow at Warwick Mathematics Institute (WMI). Before this, Jo was a FSMP postdoc at Universite Paris Dauphine mentored by Jean Dolbeault and before that a PhD student at the Cambridge Centre for Analysis supervised by Clement Mouhot.
Jo works on analysis of PDE from physics, life and social sciences with particular focus on long time behaviour of kinetic equations. Jo is currently a member of WMI’s Early Career Committee and involved in the departments outreach and widening participation work. Jo was also part of WMI’s Athena Swan self assessment team.
