Maciej Matuszewski completed an MSci in Physics with Theoretical Physics at Imperial College in 2014 and a PhD at the Durham University Department of Mathematical Sciences and Centre for Particle Theory in 2019, looking at gauge-gravity duality. Maciej currently works as Technical Manager (Research and Teaching Facilities) at Durham Maths, a role which involves managing the department’s databases and computer network, but also has undergraduate teaching responsibilities.
Maciej has particular interests in automated e-assessment, and is part of the Professionals Network for the STACK online assessment system for mathematics and STEM. Maciej is currently also Chair of the Early Career Mathematicians Group of the Institute of Mathematics and Its Applications, and Secretary and Treasurer of the Early Career Members Group of the Institute of Physics.
