Matt Butchers is a graduate of physics working in the innovation space, helping businesses and academia work together to grow UK economy. He has a background in magnetism, materials physics, radiation, spectroscopy. As an experimental physicist who has worked across academia, industry and Government, he is well connected across these stakeholders.
Matt is an Adviser at BEIS, but acts in a personal capacity on the Advisory Board. Formerly, he led the industrial mathematics and uncertainty quantification & management communities in Innovate UK’s Knowledge Transfer Network.
