Richard Golding studied theoretical particle physics at Oxford (DPhil 1976). Pursuing a career in finance, he advised major UK financial institutions on British Government debt. He worked on futures, options, and index-linked debt. In the 1990s, he devised innovative methods to finance business, at Kleinwort Benson, and Nomura’s Principal Finance Group (‘PFG’) with the famous financier, Guy Hands. At PFG he was responsible for about £3.5 billion of landmark private equity transactions.
Richard is a founder of Anthem Corporate Finance, trustee of The English Concert, member of the economics advisory board of City, University of London, and a member of the Oxford Physics Development Board. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics and member of the London Mathematical Society and the IMA.
