Tolulope Fadina is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Mathematics at the University of Essex. Her research interests are at the interface of financial mathematics and actuarial science. Before joining Essex, Tolulope was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Waterloo, Canada; Albert-Ludwigs University of Freiburg, Germany; and the Swiss Institute of Technology, Switzerland.
Tolulope earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Bielefeld University in Germany, an M.Sc. from Stellenbosch University in South Africa, a Postgraduate Diploma from the African Institute for Mathematical Science, and her first degree from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. She is involved in the initiative to decolonize the mathematics curriculum
