Tyler Kelly is a Reader in Geometry at the University of Birmingham. Their research is in algebraic geometry and mirror symmetry. Kelly is a UK Research and Innovation Future Leaders Fellow, studying the mirror symmetry of Landau-Ginzburg models. Tyler joined Birmingham in 2018, after holding an EPSRC Postdoctoral Fellowship and an NSF Postdoctoral Fellowship at Cambridge.
They serve on the London Mathematical Sciences Committee for Women and Diversity in Mathematics, have served as the local organisation lead for the largest in-person LGBTQ+ STEM conference in the UK to date, and serve on the LGBTQ+ STEM Project’s Steering Committee.
