Jonathan English is Head of Mathematics and Numeracy at The Wallace High, Belfast where he is responsible for overseeing and delivering content up to A Level Further Mathematics. He also plays an active role in promoting mathematics across Northern Ireland including facilitating links with other schools, industry and higher education institutions, whilst also being interested in linking Mathematics teaching to financial education and potential career paths within industry.
Johnny is the Dr Frost Ambassador for Northern Ireland and founder of MathsChatsNI, a forum onFacebook and Twitter for connecting and supporting post-primary mathematics teachers across Northern Ireland.
Johnny has an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and a PGCE (Mathematics) both from Queen’s University Belfast. Additionally, he has a Postgraduate certificate in Educational Leadership, also from Queen’s University Belfast.
